- Title
- Paul Watkins has been the stable boss for over thirty years at a Fells Point Livery Stable. The building changed very little since it was built in 1833. At one time over forty-five horses and wagons were kept here. They were rented to Arab fruit and vegetable vendors and “junkies” (junk men). The building which houses the stable recently sold to a large east coast bakery. The last six horses were sold in early 1980. The stable is now closed.
